Weyerbacher's Uniform Available February 25th
Posted Thursday, February 23rd, 2012 by James Kitchens

(Easton, PA) - Weyerbacher has a blog post detailing the upcoming release of their Uniform Roggenbier. According to the post, this one is not a true Roggenbier, as they call it a "hoppy interpretation of a German-style Roggenbier". Release is set for Saturday, February 25th at the Weyerbacher Visitor Center. More details below...

From the Weyerbacher blog:

Uniform – Available 2/25/2012 at the Visitors Center!!!!

Next up in our Brewer’s Select Series is UNIFORM!  It’s a KrystalHopfenRoggenBocken!  [Yes, we do know this isn't "proper" German, but it is funny so please work with us!]

UNIFORM is our hoppy interpretation of a German-style Roggenbier.  Its brewed with 25% Rye, 25% Wheat and 50% Pilsner malts and fermented with our house German Hefeweizen yeast.  UNIFORM weighs in at 7% ABV and is an absolutely delicious beer; It is as bitter as a nice IPA and has a beautiful aroma which blends American hops with the traditional clove notes of Weiss beer!

You will find UNIFORM on draft at selected restaurants and bars shortly and it will be made available in 12 oz bottles and growlers ONLY at the Weyerbacher Visitors Center starting Saturday 2/25/2012 while supplies last!
