(Belgium, EU) - It appears that anyone able to travel to Belgium might get a chance to own some Westvleteren 12 soon. According to a poorly translated article we found, as well as a section in the Wikipedia entry for the Westvleteren Brewery, a special gift pack of 6 Westy 12 bottles plus 2 glasses will be available starting November 2nd. The catch is that there is a coupon system involved, it costs 25 Euros, and you have to travel to Belgium. But if those parameters fit your upcoming agenda, then consider yourself lucky. The brewery and the Belgian retailer Colruyt are bringing a gift pack (6 bottles Westvleteren 12, 2 glasses) for sale, only against exchange of promotional coupons printed in selected media. Goal of the sales is to increase income to provide funds for urgent and immediate renovations at the monastery. Available from November 2, 2011, sales will be limited to 93.000 packs.
