(Chico, CA) - Sierra Nevada is releasing (or maybe has released) another Beer Camp series beer. This one is called Old Cantankerous. From their quick decsription on their Facebook photo, this one is a stock ale.
From the Sierra Nevada Facebook photo:
"New Beer Camp bottle in the gift shop! Old Cantankerous is a stock ale only available at the brewery. Come and get it while it lasts!"
Details from the Sierra Nevada website:
Old Cantankerous is an interesting example of the nearly forgotten Stock Ale style of beer. It is full-bodied with sweet malt aromas reminiscent of raisins and toffee. The flavor is rich with complex malts with notes of caramlized sugar and toasted walnuts. This English-style beer is clean and balanced with a restrained hop finish.
