Once again, Barley Island has teamed up with a local homebrewer to brew a beer to be entered in to the Great American Beer Festival's Pro-Am Competition. Last year, their entry was Single White Friar, a Belgian-Style Dark Ale. This year, their entry will be Blonde Ambition.
Blonde Ambition is an award winning homebrew from Andrew Korty. He teamed up with Barley Island to brew this beer on a large scale and to make it commerically available one time only. There will only be 67 cases produced for sale, available both in Indiana and in Illinois. It will also be on tap at Barley Island. For those of you lucky enough to be going to GABF, check it out at the Pro-Am booth.
