(Hyannis, MA) - Cape Cod Beer Company has an update on their website about several upcomign events. Included in that update are two beer releases. The first is their StarGazer Stout, releasing on March 1st. The other is their Stock Stout, releasing on March 13th. There are also several other events among the update, which can be found on the Cape Cod website.
From the Cape Cod website:
When March rolls around people usually start thinking about St Patrick's Day, and in the beer world, that means STOUT!
We're excited to announce the re-release of "STARGAZER Stout", a milk stout. Milk Stouts (sometimes called sweet stout or cream stout) are made by adding lactose, a sugar derived from milk. Because lactose is un- fermentable by beer yeast, it adds body and sweetness to the finished beer.
'STOCK STOUT with BEANSTOCK COFEE(Chicago, IL) - Finch's Beer Company has a Facebook post updating their next bomber release. This one will be a barleywine called Altus Gravitas. It should be coming in March, according to the post. Details are below...
From the Finch's Facebook post:
"We're still working on this, but here is our next bomber release. Altus Gravitas a Barleywine from Finch Beer at 10% ABV. Coming in March. This is Richard's big beer and it's going to be a big celebration once we get it into bombers for everyone!"

| Now Available! |
Spring IPA is back for 2012! The beer, which debuted in 2011, is a vibrant, generously hopped American IPA. We crafted the recipe with just enough malt backbone to showcase the amazing aromatic qualities of the hops. The nose of this beer is very floral and accented with big citrus notes. The aroma of Spring IPA is a welcome compliment to the spring time in Oklahoma.
Spring IPA will be available in six packs until May. It replaced Winter Stout and will be followed by Summer Blonde. Do not wait around though. Last year this was a very fast selling seasonal.
As always we appreciate everyone. Thanks for buying our beer and allowing us to continue to brew new and innovative beers!

(Houston, TX) - Saint Arnold Brewing has an update in their most recent newsletter about the upcoming release of their Endeavour Double IPA. According to their information, this is their former beer called DR11, which as been re-named. The release is scheduled for Leap Day, Wednesday, February 29th. More details below...
From the Saint Arnold newsletter:
Endeavour is Launching on Leap Day
Wednesday, February 29 we will be bringing back DR11, now named Endeavour Double IPA (or IPA2 as we labeled it - yes, we understand they are not the same - artistic license). This is our super hoppy yet oddly balanced double IPA with lots of citrus and subtle peach notes. We went out to Yakima last fall as the hops were being harvested to select the hops with the best aromatics. It shows.
The beer's name, first suggested by a NASA astronaut, was selected by you who voted to name it after the space shuttle Endeavour, which in turn was named after Captain James Cook's ship that explored the Pacific. Captain Cook's ship was a bark, similar to ELISSA, Texas' tall ship moored in Galveston and the namesake of Saint Arnold Elissa IPA.

Beer details from the Highland Brewing website:

This American Pale Ale is meticulously handcrafted for full floral hop aroma and flavor. Brewed with grains from America's heartland - Simcoe® for bittering, Amarillo® and Cascade (both dry hopped) for aromatics - this beer finishes crisp and clean. Have a few and your freshly mowed lawn will still have arrow-straight lines.
Little Hump, like our other seasonals, is named after a NC mountain peak. For more information about why we do this and our associated efforts, please see our Stewardship page.
