If you get in early enough, a late lunch at Blue Door is hard to beat.

We'll likely be running right in front of you much of the way west. Have a family reunion in Grand Rapids the weekend of the 29th-31st before heading to Denver to visit Donna's sis. Our plan is to be in Denver from about the 2nd to the 9th, before heading toward Mad-town for the Taste.

If you are hitting Arcadia, they are better for their food in my opinion so if you plan around eating there, you will be happy.

If you are planning Dragonmead to Jolly Pumpkin, you might as well stop at Dark Horse (off the highway on the way to Battle Creek/Arcadia.

Love Dark Horse. Cool trashy vibe but the beer and sandwiches/pizza are tres tasty.  Personally I'd hit DH instead of Arcadia 100 times out of 100.

Oh, and as to the original list- unless there is a reason (place to stay, etc) don't hit JP before Dragonmead/Kuhnhenn. You'd be going west (to AA/JP) then heading east for an hour to Warren before heading west again and driving right thru Ann Arbor again. Makes very little sense to me.

I don't think this is his order of stops. Just a list. If it is his order, I do recommend hitting new glarus before Chicago. Smart move.

I don't think this is his order of stops. Just a list. If it is his order, I do recommend hitting new glarus before Chicago. Smart move.

It's Swabs...you never know.  :bag:

I've already done Dark Horse, but I might add it back.

Nope, Dark Horse is just too far out of the way at this point.  I'm already looking at 40 hrs of driving, so I'm having to trim some fat.
