CW hiring a brewer if anyone is interested
I wish I had known this before I ran into Paul Saturday night. Might have changed where I punched in this morning. :coffee:

Perhaps there's a reason he didn't tell you...

CW release dates:

December: Bourbon Barrel Stout & Kosmyk Charlie's

January:Bourbon Barrel Cherry Stout, Peruvian Morning, & Bourbon Barrel Barleywine

Brewhouse Coffee Stout is out - get it while you can! BCS will be released early January, PM and BBBW will be at the end of the month (official release will be the anniversary party last saturday in January).

We do charge a little more at the brewery ($11 / 4pk) - we have to do this. If we undercut our retailers who have been supporting us for well over a decade we run the risk of pissing them off by "stealing" business from them. Support your local retailer - but always feel free to stop by and say hi!

Gotta figure out different accommodations, this year.  No chance I'm staying at Tomorrow River, ever again.  Paul said something about a shuttle to Waupaca, after last year's party.  I wonder if it's still under consideration.

Green Bay folks (me included) may have access to CW's best brews ON TAP!
Local beer shop (RIDGEVIEW) is starting to fill growlers this weekend. Future lineup could be tasty ...    :banned:

Growler Fills
We’ve got it ready to roll and here is the unofficial lineup for the next couple of weeks:

This weekend ... DogfishHead 90 Minute IPA

Next weekend ... Bell’s Hopslam, if our order comes through

Super Bowl weekend ... Central Waters BB Barleywine and Peruvian Morning

All of this is predicated on us not blowing this thing up between today and tomorrow as we get it all hooked up.

I'm skeptical at this point.  I don't think they're going to sell many growlers of big beers like that, and it's going to take them 3 months to kill a keg.

Why would you want a growler that you have to drink all at once vs bottles that likely cost less too?

Growlers are almost always cheaper here.  If the bottles were less, I'd buy the bottles.  I don't mind knocking out a big growler like that on a Saturday night :ale:

As long as they don't jack up the price, I don't think it will be a big problem.  Especially for a beer that's already a decent value to begin with.  I'm guessing the pricing will be somewhere in the $15-$18 range and I'd buy one if I knew I had at least one other person to share it with.

Neither one at Woodman's in Appleton.  Hopefully, they are just lagging behind.  They've been putting out plenty of Brehouse Coffee Stout but apparently it's not worth cooler space since they are just stacking it on the floor in front of the cooler.

holy ####.  he stepped up to the plate big time.

growlers of BBBW!??   i'm going to EBay as many of those as i can get my hands on!

I'm skeptical at this point.  I don't think they're going to sell many growlers of big beers like that, and it's going to take them 3 months to kill a keg.

they seem to be rolling through the kegs pretty quickly over there
