We're packaging Hopslam today! Beer will start leaving the brewery the first week of January. We're excited and we hope you are too!

Shouldn't the thread title be changed to Bell's Brewery instead?

What's the deal with Batch 9000?  Someone is saying they aren't releasing it til it's 15% which should be around March.  Bigger version of Batch 7000.  Truth to that?

Aaaaah, I see.  Friend works at a store in Kansas and the buyer for their Missouri store was claiming that was what they had been told.  Seemed a bit strange.

I think it's more they're waiting until they feel it's "ready", not dependent on any gravity/ABV readings.

What if it sucks like 8000?  I'd wait to try before you go a whole case in.

That's true. I'll read some reviews and what not. I'm kind of disappointed with the NG Old English Porter after I traded for 12 of them without trying it.

I do have a nice 24 bottle shipper now though.

At the Great Taste last year, Larry told me that we'd probably see Batch 10,000 before 9,000.  Seriously.  It's been in the tanks for quite awhile and he's in no hurry to get it packaged and distributed.

He also told me about his constant, awesome boners after I asked him about his health status after beating cancer, but that's neither here nor there...   :bag:

So's your mom.

Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

On BA, Northernbrews and Hoppymeal both said that they have sources stating Batch 9000 might be coming this month.

From a very reliable source.  I would plan on this.

Batch 9000 will be out early February.

Sweet, I'll have to trade for a six-pack so I can see if I want a case.

Just get the case and if you don't like it, dole it out to other TBSers.  It's not like it will go bad, or be difficult to get rid of.

I say this only because I think it's going to go quickly.

Hopslam Pricecheck
$15.99 for a 6-pack?
The Force is what gives a brewer his power. It's an energy field created by yeast. It surrounds us and penetrates us. It converts polysaccharides to ethyl alcohol.
