Dubuisson Scaldis, year bottled?
« on: March 15, 2011, 08:14:31 PM »
I'm currently pulling thru my dusty collection of full Belgian beers and have found a Dubuisson Scaldis with the back label notched D 1 and best before date notched 06/03?
Can anyone tell me what year this was actually bottled?
Thanks.

I'll also add my other finds in this same post

Found a 2005 Duvel and cracked it, after clearing the dust off.
Room temp its quite boozy on the nose, like a cheap rum.
Smooth on taste with a very light white wine-like tone with some tender breadyness and breezed in with some pear schnapps.
Looking forward throughout this month in finding other gems to open and lighten my collection in prep for a possible move.

Totally forgot that I took a pic of the bottle before cleaning and opening it...

The "Adam" is batch 52, apparently early 2003, not 2004. Nearly opened it tonight.
Saving it for something special
