This morning I received...
growler of CH Evans Imperial Stout Plus - black cherries, yum
22oz - Sly Fox Odyssey - happy to have this DIPA again
750ml - Captain Lawrence Nor' Easter - this looks very interesting
12oz - Southern Tier Old Man Winter Warmer - I remember this one being tasty
12oz - Dominion Spring Brew - new to me
12oz can - Sea Hag IPA

Nice package and he actually got a few that I haven't had. Return fire will happen sometime this week. I think I had already put 8 or 9 beers aside for you. Thanks Bakes!

Enjoy!!! The Evans Impy just went off tap but it was replaced by the Old Musty barleywine - only had one sample, but it may be his best Musty yet. Definitely amped up the hops a bit from its more English-style predecessor to differentiate it a bit from his Old Ale. Haven't tried the Captain yet except for a quick sample - it's a neat brew.

Already got some stuff put aside, so it won't be long until a return package.

Yes there was!!!

Opened the box, saw the missile silo foam things and underneath them were:

New Glarus Coffee Stout
Great Lakes Nosferatu
Two Brothers Bare Tree wheat barleywine
Wild Dog Weizenbock
Brau Brothers 3 Coffee Stout
Brau Brothers 3 Scotch Ale
New Glarus Belgian Quad
Flying Dog Double Dog
Tyranena Devil Made Me Do It coffee imperial oatmeal porter
Celis Grand Cru
Boulder GABF 25th Anniversary brew
Full Sail LTD Series Lager

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Only ever had the Celis (back 10 years ago, not the new version) and the GABF brew; have a bottle of the Tyranena in the fridge, and glad to see another of each of them. Sweet, sweet package - looking forward to these!!! Thanks TT - hoping to go get some neat stuff in the next couple of weeks, will probably send in 2-3 weeks. :banned:

Nope - Furley sent the Tyranena in BIF3, got the GABF one locally, and the Celis was from Incarnation One, Pre-Miller. Tracking system is *fine.*

Only one duplicate on the way, but I don't think you'll mind too much. ;)  The growler is the Evans Cherry Dubbel - really changes with serving temp.

Holy beer bomb Batman!  Got a big ol' box of beer today from Bakes.  Here's what I found inside.

CH Evans Cherry Dubbel - growler (described on their site as a Belgian Style Brown with sour cherries :pickle:)
Ithaca White Gold - 750ml
Ithaca IPAbbey - 750ml
Ithaca Kaffinator - 750ml
Ithaca Old Habit - 750ml
Captain Lawrence Nor' Easter
Weeping Radish Fest - 500ml?
Landmark Red Ale - 12oz
Landmark IPA - 12oz
Landmark Vanilla Bean Brown - 12oz
Bakes Homebrew 10yr Lambic  :excited:
Anchor Bar Buffalo Wing Sauce

Killer box of brew that I haven't had.  I did have the Nor' Easter, but then immediately begged for more.  I will be gathering a plethora of brews to send to you this week and will ship the return box on Monday.

THANKS!!! :banned:

Whew - made it intact!!!  Gald to hook ya up - the Landmarks are interesting brews, contract brews that BA Syrbeer has made at Wagner Valley.  The Brown's neat, the red's balanced, the IPA... fine effort.

The lambic - I hereby state in a public forum that I take no responsibility for any gastric distress, loss of tooth enamel, or rabbit shakes that may occur.  That sucker it tart, unbalanced, and... well, try it!

Lastest IPA batch

Several months ago we mutually parted ways with Wagner Brewing Company and moved all of our production to Flying Bison Brewing in Buffalo. Well our first batch is nearly done and it tastes awesome. Our IPA should be out sometime next week followed by a new batch of Vanilla Bean shortly afterwards. Anyone interested in it please feel free to contact me at sales@landmarkbrewing.com.

He's been at three different breweries so far - started out at Riverhorse in New Jersey, then Wagner, now Bison.  I don't think any of the Bison-brewed brews are available yet.

 :excited: :pickle: :banned:

In other words... hell yeah!!!  The home computer is currently offline (wife tried to get a router hooked up without bothering to check if we had the drivers installed for it) so I couldn't get online until today.  Seriously great box - thanks man!!!  Hoping to be able to get to some of the lesser known breweries around here in the next week or two... should find some neat stuff for the return trip.

The Town Hall growler is 1800, their English IPA.  ABV was up this year, something like 8.3%.

Looking for anything from Ithaca, Syracuse, or points in between?  The 2008 Old Musty barleywine just came on this week at the Pump Station - think Winter Warmer with a bit less darkness and a bit more hop and alcohol...

 DHL didn't screw up - amazing!!!  OK, notes time...

What the hell was that second growler... Oh, yeah. Pump Station Old Musty barleywine, vintage 2008.  Really like this year's version.
That's some of the final batch (apparently ever) of Ithaca DIPA.  They amped up the hops a bit this year.  Not uber-carbonated, at least the growler I had wasn't, but drinkable.
the Carolina IIPA impressed the hell out of me.  Wasn't expecting them to come up with that solid a brew.
The Millenium is from the cellar, vintage 2005.
The other Ithaca brews are from this years' seasonal 12 pack. The Winterizer is a spiced Belgian dark ale - their take on Corsendonk Christmas, and not a bad job of it.

Enjoy - already have the car pointed at Halftime Beverage for the next box.

Don't worry about reloading yet - I still have a ton to get through courtesy of not being able to smell anything for the past two weeks. Aroma hops? What are THEY?!?!?!

Put two bottles of Ithaca Ten in there - take one out west and split it at the cornhole.

VERY cool - it'll be fun to compare the two.

I'm heading to Raleigh the day after Thanksgiving for the annual Shang Extended Family Reunion Trip.  :banned:  Looking for anything from NC?  Should be able to find Highland Tasgall fairly easily - no idea what other fun stuff Sam's in Durham may have.  Hoping they have growlers of Pisgah... no idea if that is just a pipe dram or not!
