Tried the Black Chai over the weekend, it was pretty good. Pretty close in taste to the tea.

Sounds like Shorts is going to start distributing outside of MI. Not sure where yet.

they are 2 minutes across the border in the UP.  it would make sense to send their trucks across the bridge in to Marinette!

I'll send my contacts there a request to go south instead.

Well if there are following proper prodigal there should be some tap takeovers, followed by a few hip bars putting it on secretly, then  :banned: :banned: :banned:

According to Josh Noel (Tribune beer guy), it's going to start with IL and PA. Should be in Chicago in late March.

It makes sense if you hit up any party store in MI. Standards sit on the shelf a long time. Huma is great fresh, but I've been duped way too many times with faded beer. They have to have the product to expand.

If they bring their cider with the beer, it's pretty great stuff.

The Michigan beer market is too crowded, so we're expanding to ... Chicago?

Actually maybe you were correct.
