Just had to drain pour my last 2 bottles of 05/06 Brooklyn BCS ... pure vinegar

Drinking an 06/07 now .. drinkable, but headed downhill IMO

I'm sort of surprised, as these normally age very well.  Maybe you should've taken them out of the sun. :shrug:

might as well crack em furls, these don't age nearly as well as DIPAs :thumbup:

Me too.  I've been working on 12 sixpack verticals.  <_<

Cracked one of these a couple of weeks ago and it was drinking like a champ.  Not even a hint of infection.  :shrug:

Of course, I just remembered that it was the only one I had sitting in the DBF.  The rest of the bottles I have from this vintage have been sitting in the cellar with all the other vintages so I guess I need to give one of those a try.

Had an 06-07 last night that was fantastic.  Heavy alcohol on the nose, but it goes away quickly and in comes some smokiness and hints of chocolate. 
i'm not good at putting this stuff in words but i can't see myself with anyone else except maybe urbanhack.
