See ya there!

Dunno which beer I'll order first!  The chili IPA was really good last week on firkin.  I LOVE coffee beer.  The Belgian trippel and dark are very good.  The RIS is dangerously drinkable..... /drool!

You don't want to miss a Dry Dock anniversary party!

Has this been mentioned on the events yet?  This will lead to Dry Dock's first bottled beer:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1st Inaugural Ho-Ho-Ho Slapdown
Export Event to Desktop Event
Start Date/Time:    Saturday, November 28, 2009 12:00 PM
End Date/Time:    Saturday, November 28, 2009 5:00 PM
Recurring Event:    One time event
Description:
When I asked the brewers their thoughts on our winter/holiday beers this year, it quickly became clear that everyone had their own ideas and they were all quite different.  So, rather than compromise, we decided to make 3!  Bill, Lachlan and I are all making our own beers.(Well technically, they brewed my recipe for me while I was stuck pushing paper around the office).  As you can imagine, a little trash talking has ensued so we've decided to sweeten the pot and make it a competition!  You get to decide whose is best at the Inaugural Ho Ho Ho Slapdown competition.  The winner will have their beer bottled in about 600-1,000 bombers which we'll then sell as our first bottled product. He'll also having bragging rights back in the brewery for the next year. And maybe an ugly trophy...
 The three beers are:
Immolater - Bill's big, malty Doppelbock lager (Bill thinks the competition is already locked up by the way.  I'm worried he'll drink it all out of the fermenter before we get to try it.)
3 Heavy - Lachlan's rich, high-octane Scottish Strong Ale
(There are rumors of Lachlan McLean in a kilt for the Slapdown!)
Vixen's Cherry Ale -  Kevin's Belgian Strong Golden ale with sour cherries (yes, it should be pink.  I also deserve the "going out on a limb award" since I'm the only one with the guts to experiment. :-)
Voting will be held at the brewery from noon to 5pm on November 28th, the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  Come on in and try all three and help us decide whose is best!
Men in kilts for the win!  My bet is on the wee heavy!
