aight just got back,we didnt get to go to the beer spot tasting cuz the hotel was booked up.but we had an awesome time at firestone.we got there at 11,few people hanging around but no huge line.the real cool thing was if you bought even one bottle of 13 they had food/beer set up out back.here is what they had:

on tap:
black zantus
13
12

on cask
double barrel unfiltered
reserve porter

pulled pork sandwiches,coleslaw,and beans
plus a reggae band.

and all this was FREE if you purchased a bottle of the 13.
so yeah,we had a damn good time. :)

:goodposting:

Also on tap was Double Double Barrel

They had, as odeed mentioned, a bad ass set up this year.  More of a little mini fest than anything else. You could stay there from open to close to drink and eat all day for your $22 purchase. The only thin missing was a gurney and IV set to hook up the Unfiltered DBA on cask. :bonar: kath> in know that's not how you spell boner

The hang with Pols, Reg and Coors Light Johnny was awesome. Had a few brews with Pols after getting back from the airport before crashing and heading to the coast Friday morning. Stopped in at Firestone for a quick pint and to load up on a growler each of Union Jack and Unfiltered DBA. Cruised on over to Pismo and had some WORLD FAMOUS clam chowder at Splash. Strolled on down to the pier for a bit before returning to the house for beer killing.

We pulled into the parking lot at Firestone a little after odeed did, and like he said, not many people there an hour ahead of time. The crowd rose to about 30-35 when the doors open. Doors open, and we flood into the brewery. I got the first order and case of 13 :nerd:

Getting to try 13 and 12 side by side was pretty freaking sweet. Get through a few brews then try some of the local coffee used in the 13...fantastic. Grab a pulled pork saingwich, Double DBA and head back into the brewery to grub down. Hung there for a while with odeed and his better half. Observed a local fella bring out a full cutting board, three blocks of cheese, tube of meat, Triscuits and a jar of peanuts. Coors Light Johnny immediately says that he does this to attract broads, and we should wait and see if it works. A few minutes later two, um mountain lioness strode up and sat down with the dude. Johnny = :bowtie:

Left there about 3 to check into the hotel, and went from there to The Crooked Kilt for dinner and some Celebration. Had a good dinner there, and Coors Light Johnny proclaimed to have a skill to pick out chicks that have daddy issues  "This one here...yeah, she has daddy issues. She'd let you choke here for a while i bet" :spitsdrink:

Got back to the hotel and started with an 08 Angel's Share...flat. Went on through an 06 Double Bastard(bad ass), Choklat, Unfiltered Double Simcoe, 09 Dark Lord and others that are escaping me now. Finally crashed at about 3am when the night manager made his fourth trip to the room.

Great, great hang and great brews.
