Corked/Caged 750ml bottle from the original run.


Is that worth anything?  It's been in buried in my cellar for quite sometime now - is that the type of thing I'd be able to sell if I wanted to?

I'd think people would pay a nice penny for it on eBay.  Make sure to go on about how it was the first run, etc.

This is true.  He may be the best buyer option.

That's about 25oz. 12oz bottles are $10 now at Binny's here in Chicago - link.

So the base price is $20. Considering the age, I'd say you could put on $2 a year or so, so that's $32. The schtick value of the "first run" thing should add something too. Call that $8-10, so around $40 would be my guess. I suspect you might be able to get decently more though.


If you can't get at least that much, I'd say invite a few friends over and start drinking.
