I noticed this one is listed wrong.  It's a dark mild, not an American amber.  Oh well.  It's also 4.2% ABV.  I've been on a kick lately where I really don't much care for beers over 5%.  I just wish we had more choices in that range.  I am looking forward to my next trip to the UK.

A 2007 bottled I've held on to for 4 years. Simply put, it is outstanding right now. Loads of caramel malt but not even close to being too sweet, with some dark fruitiness and a growing flavour of Port since the last bottle I had. If you like UK barleywines, this would be right up your alley!
