Stone Pale Ale

Got this at The Anderson's general store in Columbus, OH. The northside store off of Sawmill Rd (for those in the area) has a stupidly large selection of craft beers.

We have been getting Stone stuff here in GR for about 4 or 5 months now.. Good stuff, just had the Ruination IPA this weekend!! Good stuff.

Tonight, Southern Tier Hop Sun, I really like this beer.

Starr Hill Pale Ale  (It was keep the glass night)
Oberon (draft)
Victory All Malt Lager
Bells Lager

Alpine Ale

Too bad I'm oncall or I might have a few beers.  ;)
Beer. It always seems like such a good idea at the time. What's worse is beer seems like an even better idea after you've had some beer.

Anyone had Colorado Brews Mojo IPA yet?

I was camping near traverse city and came across this wonderfull Amarillo IPA... I'm going to have to talk with some of the local shops to see if they can get any in.

Oy's usually on tap at the Ale House in Vestal (near Binghamton).  It's a tasty brew.

Middle Ages 11th Anniversary double wheat. About 8 months old and it aged perfectly - no hefe yeast (they use Ringwood) but just really thirstquenching.

Now I'm on to a Carolina barleywine I found sitting around.

Nothing. Oncall.  :( already got my scare for the night. One call at a university in one direction 60 miles away and another call at a Navy base 60 miles the other way. But for now both are being taken care of without my assistance. So looks like it's water for me.

Might be the creamiest full-mouthed beer I've ever had.  But I almost find that deterring to drinkability.  Aww, I just let out a horrific belch and I'm not even close to halfway yet.

Might also have something to do with it being almost July. Xmas in July is special though. I did actually buy that around the holidays, so maybe the beer has just been past its date or something. Hope not.
