You guys usually get the GI specialty brews around there?

As in you just started getting it and will continue to get it or this is a strange one that's somehow showing up?

Holy on a stick.

I wonder what the chances of it making it up here are.
Should we take a cab home, Jesus?
Shit man, we can hoof it from here.
I know you can walk on water...
But can you walk on this much beer?

They're officially here in San Diego as of now with the same distribution as Redhook, Widmer and Kona.

I was told there's strong potential for Imperial IPA and Matilda next year, as well. No word on any of the 'smaller' beers they do showing up as of yet.

Aaaah very cool.  I wish we saw more Goose Island on tap around here.  We rarely see it on tap and when we do, it's Honkers Ale 99% of the time.

Anheuser Busch.

I was told this is a California roll out but only available in a select amount stores.

The Force is what gives a brewer his power. It's an energy field created by yeast. It surrounds us and penetrates us. It converts polysaccharides to ethyl alcohol.

Had a few La Deuxime's this week after work since I was working only 2 miles from there... It sure is hard to leave after sipping down a few of those... Man times I wonder why I moved way out to no mans land!

:excited:  Goose Island is now in Coloardo.  But just the Bourbon County Stout at $18.99 for a 4 pack.  Kind of odd that this is the only on  ????

Maybe you guys have one of those shady non-legit distributors like we had that bring in stuff they aren't suppose to but can only get like a case at a time cause they bring it in the trunk of their car.

I know of a few bars that sell beers that are not distributed out here.  But BCS seems to be in most of the liquor stores (or at least the "real" liquor stores).  They have been talking about coming to CO for about 2 yrs now.

Is that the normal price for BCS?

That's on the low end of the price range for BCS ... I got it for that much in Chicago, but only with a case discount.  I believe the MSRP is 19.99.

Thanks, but I already have a case of it ... I don't think I'll drink that much of it over the course of a year.

Bourbon County Stout gets new label, and will be available in 22oz bottles!

Coming out on Nov 12 with a new label, in 12 oz and 22 oz bottles!

"The newest beer to go through these changes is Bourbon County Stout. Bourbon County Stout, probably Goose Island's most popular beer among beer enthusiasts, is receiving new labels as part of all these changes. The new label looks to class things up a bit and reflect on the fine liquid contained within the bottle. In addition, Bourbon County Stout will be available in 22oz bombers for the first time. This may be a nice change for those that cellar, as there are some that are fervent in their belief that big bottles age better. There is no proof that this is the case, but it's the way some feel. It's always nice to have different options though, and the bigger bottles will be good to bring to tastings and to share with family and friends. Bourbon County Stout won't be on the shelves for a while yet, so don't go rushing to the store asking for the 2009 vintage."

In one of the articles about what beer Obama will serve to the two idiots from Harvard:

Quote
The company sells its beer mostly around the Midwest but started to distribute to Washington after Obama's victory.

"Goose Island beers are available in D.C. now," Bowker said. "And it's all on the coattails of the president."

I don't give a rip about your politics, but if Obama is the reason Goose Island is now available to me, THANK YOU, MR. PRESIDENT.

Word is that some new versions of Bourbon County are headed our way this year.  Blueberry, coffee, and bourbon barrel 2 year.

They didn't say.  If only Dave was still around and could chime in.

We will be making a couple different limited release bottles of the Bourbon County next year.

They are looking at a Bourbon Coffee Stout and a Blueberry Bourbon Stout in the 22oz bottles.  But this is slated for next year.  (I would guess spring for the Coffee release and Summer for the Bluebeery)
I can certianly keep you in the loop regarding these.

As far as the regular batch, the bottles are now available in the 12 oz or 22oz bottle.

The Draft is available in 1/6 bbls at $xxx/each.  The bbls would need a special order.
Is this something that you may be interested in?
Why, yes. Yes I would be.

Strange.  I got the info from the Bud reps that said they were told about it while in a beer dinner the GI was putting on.  Not sure what JJ's source is but I'm sure it's from the brewery.
