Thought it was more like a smoked barley wine. Not sure of the ABV but it has to be upwards of eight.  I enjoyed it.

They did and it was infected.  Still have a bottle of it sitting out that has a crazy infection inside.  All kinds of weird chains of this and that.  Plus it tasted like someone had throw a burnt fire log in your glass if you let it warm a bit.

If it ends up anything like Box of Chocolate, it will be good.  I had the same reaction when I heard that it was a Quad with Chocolate, but it was tasty, IMO.

some SW MI Grape growers lost 90% of there crop last week ( I know it's grapes but things are good for growers with the early bloom)

Anyone know the bottling date/release date on the labels of R&D Gueuze?

edit: Bottled August 6, 2010 (that was right before the Taste, so no bottle conditioning I guess...)
