:deadbanana:

your kids must like bowling, right?

1) take the kids bowling
2) drink beer
3) DAD OF THE YEAR

they like about 2 frames of bowling

then they want to play video games and complain

Depending how things go, I may wander through Pilsen tonight. Could even wind up at Moody Tongue.

Ran out of time.
Made it to Alulu, which was hit & miss. A couple downright awful beers, out of something like 30 total.
The beers all had nonsense names, so I just stuck to the style and tap no. #

They just crank out 5 gallon batches I think, no other way to explain it. They said they have a "nano system".
They hired a brand new brewer though, and his NE-style DIPA from the fermenter was great. Hope it's a sign of good things to come.

Did you go to Lo Rez?  That was the only one I thought was worth going back to in Pilsen.

I feel the same way. Whatever happened to Pleasant House installing a brewery? They had one in MI.
Didn't have enough time to get there, their taplist was decent but not a lot I hadn't already had. They do a nice Czech pils and Berliner.

Next time i'll probably eat in Pilsen or at Kimski, then head to Marz.

That's probably the way to go.  I do enjoy Marz's taproom.

No idea on Pleasant House brewing onsite.

Jolly Pumpkin has also been on my short list for awhile, but I rarely get to Hyde Park. Maybe on the next Honey 1 run...

Worked most of the day, then headed out to Titletown for some food and beer.  Forgot it was a Packers home weekend, so the place was mobbed. Had 2 appetizers and 4 beers for $29.  Felt bad for the bartender.  He was swamped, and didn't even have a bar back to help out.    At one point, there must have been 75 dirty glasses stacked at the end of the bar.

Paid my tab with mug club points, and then tipped him a $20

Had the day off today, so I had lunch with my kid at school and then went to Titletown for my own lunch after.  Place was mobbed again (Packers home game last night), and tons of Eagles fans.  Sat next to a couple of guys in town from Indy and Louisville.  Had a perch fish fry for lunch with a Bent Tuba (oktoberfest) and Boathouse pilsner ... then the out-of-town guys bought me a couple of Green 19s (IPA).

It was really cool. They set up long communal tables upstairs in their barrel loft space, and had servers continuously coming around with new beers. I had 8-9. :ale:

They were also serving plates of crispy blood sausage with potatoes & caramelized onions. It was very tasty!

Tasty, and too drinkable. They probably had 100 people upstairs :o:

We managed to crawl to Half Acre at the end of the night, the latest Hut was pretty nice.

I had that Hut last Friday pre-gaming for Deth day.  It was excellent.  Second Setting was pretty phenomenal too.

Dinner and drinks at Boneyard Bistro.  Quietly one of the best beer places in LA and its close to me.  And they make the best nacho’s I’ve had.  Their bbq isn’t exquisite but when put on nachos...

Their website is behind (even though what they show on tap on the website is still impressive).  This time of year they do a stout fest where half their taps are stouts.  Had a 10oz pour of 2015 Older Viscosity and 2014 Expedition.

Shit man, we can hoof it from here.

Tarantula Hill.  New place that opened close to me (by Los Angeles standards at least).  They have five self produced beers on tap so will taste the full lineup.
