It definitely doesn't live up to how I remember it.  I remember it being the most complex hop flavor I had ever tasted and it definitely is no longer that.  Now, I'm not sure if that's because Stone can't pull it off the same way, or (more likely, IMO) the beer world has seriously changed in 10 years.

That said, it was very good.  10 that goes down like a 6.  Very well balanced for such a big beer.  After I finished my glass, I immediately bought a crowler to drink watching the game the next day.  I suspect I will buy more of it before it's gone.

Yeah.  Fremont is good, but for the most part the bars in Seattle are far better than the breweries.
