Todd, is it true, I was told the guy running the sound setup at Darkness Day flew in from Ashley Simpson's tour to do it?

No No No!
JESSICA Simpsons promo tour :P

Monty is our sound engineer from back in the day,he has obviously gone on to bigger things!
He is currently employed by Jessica for her promo tour and then next years tour opening for Rascal Flats etc,he was in town and it worked out for him to volunteer to mix our live sound. He has worked for Ashley too,Alice in Chains,Tool and some others..great guy too.

I may try to stop by at some point. We're headed to the Gopher homecoming game when starts at noon, so if I drop by it'll likely be before the gates open.

Anyone coming this year?

I wish I could.  Bank account is hurting right now for about 6 different reasons.  If that all clears up by next year, I plan on heading out for this.  I owe it to myself.  :banned:

FYI- last weekend in Hayward, WI there was plenty of Darkness and Barrel-Aged Darkness sitting on the shelf at Marketplace Foods. It was a few more dollars per bottle than in the Twin Cities, but they did have the BA stuff sitting out with no limit. They also had plenty of CBS.

IN!

Been wanting to come back after years off, (as I did with Great Taste last year) and while I would love to be back in Brooklyn Center like the old days, I'm intrigued by the sound of how this is set-up...

Doesn't say anything about RV camping... is that a possibility :bakes:

OK, so since I'm looking at making this part of one of my cross country things, its unlikely I'll have camping gear... I'm kinda old and adverse to camping anyway, especially now that I sleep with a CPAP.  I booked a room in Stillwater Friday night, it sort of looks close, and I'll probably just hang out and sober up enough to make it to maybe Eau Claire Saturday night... does that seem like a reasonable plan, or do some of you from the area have a better suggestion?  Is Uber/Lyft or AirBnB much of a thing in those parts?

Why do people insist on using something as meaningless and confusing as "12 PM" or "12 AM" for that matter?  ITS NOON or MIDNIGHT! or use military time.

Been giving this some thought since the tickets got posted, looked at Outdoorsy, and it ain't a whole lot more to rent an RV for one or both nights, even cheaper with more people....

So anyone interested in going in on an RV with us?  The CPAP has silenced my snoring, but Joan still occasionally gets a little loud  :D
With 5 people, maybe $40-$50 each per night.  I'm thinking only Friday, but I could be talked into staying around Saturday.
