Father's Day
« on: June 16, 2021, 07:35:25 AM »
Daughter and her boyfriend are taking me here on Saturday - https://yoergbeer.com/home

I'll be spending the night at their place, then Sunday morning we're going here for Dim Sum - http://www.mandarinkitchenminneapolis.com/

What's the plan for the other TBS father's this weekend?
A good plan violently executed today is better than a perfect plan next week.

Looking at the tap list at Yoerg makes my mouth water.

Looks like a solid anti-bro beer list

Sounds like a great weekend.

Planning to take my Dad out for lunch and a beer or two.

Re: Yoerg's
Looks pretty cool. A pretty small brewery, I wonder if they have lagering caves somewhere? :D

Not sure yet.  Will probably fire up the grill.  Might go on a bike ride.

That Tap list at Yoerg’s looks pretty amazing.  You don’t see them like that very often anymore.

Wife bought tickets to take the whole family on a sightseeing boat tour around Washington DC.  Unfortunately, she then started a new job and has to work at 3:00 that afternoon so we have to hightail it out of there as soon as the cruise is done.  Other than that I'll probably take the dogs on a long walk around a lake, relax with a couple, too, tree beers and maybe fit in a round of disc golf.

I ended up drinking 9 times my body weight in beer, broke three glasses over my head, 7 over others, ordered up 17 hookers for a little afterparty, held a cabbie hostage while running his cab through the Madison capitol doors, and I grabbed gator's ass.

Should we take a cab home, Jesus?
Shit man, we can hoof it from here.
I know you can walk on water...
But can you walk on this much beer?

Picked up a grass-fed cowboy ribeye for myself and a nice porkchop for Jaime from a small local farm.  Probably have those Friday night. With Jaime having a sensitivity to beef protein, we eat mostly chicken, pork, and fish at home, but a couple times a year I splurge on a steak for myself.

Jaime's brother is hosting a cookout on Sunday afternoon.  Hoping to bail from there early enough to catch the end of the US Open back at home.

Happy Father’s Day, TBS dads! :hack: Way to procreate

Took my dad out to a couple breweries, and picked up BBQ from a local place that was very good.
