Crappy news, though they aren't moving so I have to think they could open it up again someday.

Will we be able to go drink all we want on a dirty office chair after taking a $5 "tour" again?

Super sad.  One of the guys that was always cool to see there.  Since they aren't talking about what happened I'm guessing it's drugs or suicide.

He was the one at the Map Room a lot, no?  What is their ownership like now?

Yeah, he used to hang out there with Nick Floyd and Lincoln Anderson. I have no idea about the current ownership, other than they closed the brewpub. I'd speculate that was a way to buyout the investors and put money into the distillery.

The Force is what gives a brewer his power. It's an energy field created by yeast. It surrounds us and penetrates us. It converts polysaccharides to ethyl alcohol.

I did not know Barnaby personally but all accounts point to a great dude and a huge loss.  His Alpha King Bottle costume with the tattoo'd legs is such an iconic image of so many Great Tastes.

I ran into him at a taqueria a couple years ago, he was working part time at a fishing supply store. More recently I think he started working for Forbidden Root.

I bumped into him at Goose the Market in Indy picking up some meats.  They were returning from a trip to Kentucky to grab barrels.
