The shameless corporate product placement is the lame (money grab?) part. With the advent of Planters Mr. Peanut™ IPA, Best Maid™ sour pickle beer, and whatever else, how will we know when things have gone too far(t)?

This is pretty good stuff here:

https://www.mentalfloss.com/article/620533/can-farts-spread-disease

I am gonna make some yogurt.

How long before we see a flatus-fermented kettle sour with a fart powder label? :-X

That's enough internet for today. :backsaway:

This is grounds for an official boycott of Oscar Blues
Should we take a cab home, Jesus?
Shit man, we can hoof it from here.
I know you can walk on water...
But can you walk on this much beer?

I think I have accidentally started boycotting them even before this beer.

I'd give them all a try just for the novelty. I am actually surprised PB&J hasn't been a more popular flavor.

I've tried the 4 to the left.  None were good, but the Ranch was by far the worst.

The Force is what gives a brewer his power. It's an energy field created by yeast. It surrounds us and penetrates us. It converts polysaccharides to ethyl alcohol.

These beers look like they were made with a lot of high fructose corn syrup.

Thankfully they're not beers yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were. :bag:

A guy in my homebrew club made a Gardetto's beer a few years back. Kind of vile to drink but by God it tasted like Gardetto's.

I told him it was "a great execution of a really questionable idea", and asked for a bottle to use as a chicken marinade (which worked pretty well).

"a great execution of a really questionable idea" Lol!  That's a great saying.  I actually think, at least on paper, the idea is ok.  Beer goes really well with salty Snack Mix.  But this is probably where the theory does not work with the execution.

Yeah it really wasn't pleasant to drink. For one thing, it had the seasonings but not the salt, so it was like unsalted snack mix.

Funny thing is that the guy is now a pro brewer - he and 2 other club members started a nanobrewery a couple years back - and does some really great work with their barrel-aged and other "big" beers.
