Might not have to come all the way to Alabama... I've got a buddy who has a nano brewery on his family farm north of Nashville, near Gallatin TN.  Anyway, there've been several private like events there, I also was the one who recommended he have a festival around the total eclipse a couple of years ago, the totality line passed right through the area.  Anyway, lots of space to camp and such.  Lots of friends in TN (where I'm originally from) for my 50th I had both a Huntsville and a Nashville celebration, I've already suggested to my friend I would like to do the Nashville 60th one at his place.  Anyway, I'll keep y'all in the loop.

My friends say I'm like doing the laundry and forgetting the bleach: I'm not as bright as I could be.

This would be awesome, tentatively, if society hasn’t collapsed by then.

I think it may be even more awesome if society has collapsed.  Maybe?

  :mfight: :dj:

I mentioned we had a big ta-do for the eclipse at the location... we probably had 40 people camping from all over the night before bottle sharing until 2 AM or later... next morning we wake up to find some of the crew returning from what they described as a rave they had discovered even deeper in the "holler"
