What places should I not miss, beer or otherwise?  I've never been to Boston.

Night Shift, Trillium, Jack's Abby (Framingham)

I haven't been to Boston since the early 90's, but it's pretty cool to walk around. Also some of the earliest cemeteries in the US, pretty cool.

Lamplighter and Lord Hobo are great... You can hit up Cambridge Brewing and those two pretty easily on foot.
You can also hit Bone Up just up the street from Nightshift if you go there.
Aeronaut and Remnant are close to each other in Somerville.

Chinatown is the only thing I remember standing out to me.  Awesome food.  Trillium was a bummer because they were only to go.

They have since opened a spiffy restaurant / brewpub nearby. And their production facility is in a suburb to the south, you can drink there as well.
Which reminds me, next door to the old "to go only" Trillium location on Congress St. is an outstanding seafood restaurant that has a great tap list as well.
Its called Row 34.

The Force is what gives a brewer his power. It's an energy field created by yeast. It surrounds us and penetrates us. It converts polysaccharides to ethyl alcohol.

More than a couple of beers were consumed.  More than a little fun was had.
