Cellar Update: Avery Twenty-Two Anniversary

This was an all Brett (100% Brettanomyces drie Fermented Dry-Hopped Wild Ale.) made in 2015. Avery really screwed this up and the Brett should be awesome and growing but not in this beer. I wonder if they killed all the living brett before bottling. Don't waste your time with this one, just a sweet Belgian pale ale aging.

I remember skipping that one, probably more than I wanted to pay. Sounds like that was a good decision.

Avery Fifteen was really great back in the day. A similar all Brett fermented wild ale. They kind of slipped into irrelevance for me.

A much better beer. I was hoping for something similar. That 15 was crappy at first but got really good after a few years.
