New Glaurs

How is it possible that there is no dedicated New Glarus thread?  :confused:

Berliner Apfel and Laughing Fox (Krystalweizen) are out now.

Hope Laughing Fox is as good as the last time it was brewed.

Laughing Fox is a sparkling Kristal Weizen brewed in the Bavarian tradition with 50% Wisconsin wheat in our open top fermenters. Tickle your nose notes of spicy clove and cinnamon abound. Dan’s inspired Weizen interpretation reflects the deep bittersweet color of our Fox’s red coat.

Fresh New Glarus Apple Ale at the Crivitz Piggly-Wiggly?  :confused:

Looked online at NG's beer schedule and no mention of fresh AA in December.

Yet it would make sense that the 2020 apple harvest would be ready for brewing AA, no?

Thinking about taking a drive at lunchtime to load up on NG AA.

NG is kinda in a rut lately, feels like they're resting on their laurels. Sickly sweet fruit beers or reruns of mediocre past releases. :shrug: I haven't really loved a new beer of theirs since 2018 R&D Kriek. Nectar Ale was really good, though it was also pretty sweet.

It’s not as bad as the other ones, sort of an alternate version of Raspberry Tart with cocoa.
