One of my all-time favorite beers. :banned:
Luckily got to try an '05 and '15 side by side recently at Kulminator. Time was kind, but '05 is too old, imho. '15 was still really nice.

Found this nice article about aging the beer and it's origins:

Drinking a three year old Mad Bitch right now, could go another three easy

Haven’t had that one in awhile, need to revisit the entire range soon. Stille Nacht and reg Oerbier vintages managed to last too. We had a 1987 Oerbier and 2015 side by side, both were good, but the 87 was really just a novelty at this point.

Something i’ve always wondered, why does the Reserva version jump 5% abv higher?
Maybe they don’t dump the wine barrels?

Does De Dolle have a lab or do they just do homebrew-like estimates on abv? I assume anything over 8%, if not actually analyzed, is always a rough estimate.
