Blue Bird Brasserie

This isn't walking distance from my house, but its darn close! I couldn't be happier with the brewer selection.

OUR BREWER - NOAH REGNERY
Noah Regnery brings nearly a decade of brewpub brewing expertise with him to the ABC family. Born and bred in San Diego’s rich craft beer culture, he honed his skills at legendary Pizza Port Brewing (San Clemente) . He has won numerous local, national, and international awards, most notably at the Great American Beer Festival and World Beer Cup. These include “Small Brewpub of the Year” and “Small Brewpub Brewer of the Year”, as well as Gold Medals for both India Pale Ale and Double India Pale Ale, a feat never accomplished before or since. In 2011, he took over as Head Brewer at Hollister Brewing Company, adding his talent to yet another world-class brewpub. We are so excited to have Noah take the helm at Bluebird Brasserie!

I know you can walk on water...
But can you walk on this much beer?

Pizza Port is a great pedigree to have. Hope he eventually brews some IPA's, PP wasn't really known for their Belgian stuff, afaik.

Place looks mad rustic, yo.

Yeah, he made his fame with his IPA's but has been making a lot of different styles at Hollister (which I go to all the time).  Its about 10 minutes north of Santa Barbara

Funny enough, their Spring Fling recently has had a lot less lavender flavor.  I wonder if this is the new brewers interpretation, I don't know when Noah left.
