super curious about "Rapture", let me know how it is.

The Rapture is probably the least fresh, picked it up in late August, but had one recently and it seemed OK.  Trimtab (the Imperial Holiday Now) is probably our best brewery in AL, great IPAs, but couldn't track down any fresh ones.  We had the Sea Lord last night, it was really good.  It and All my Joy are from Southern Prohibition in Mississippi, they're one of my favorites in the region.

Box landed on my porch today, haven't had time to open, been doing food prep for family gatherings, but I'll try to open it tomorrow before we leave for the holidays.

It's so refreshing to have a good, regular non-barrel aged stout. Really enjoyed those two.

Similarly, I got these great West coast hazy IPAs... with bitterness. It was so nice to finally have a decent IPA. I realize that no one near me is making anything like that. I’m not even a hops guy but I might be if I lived on the West coast.

Also, that Riserva is the bomb. Old school Weyerbacker. BIG, fruity, and I def didn't find the sourness to be nail polish or overly assertive or acerbic. I hadn't drank it for over a decade and enjoyed it more than anything the hot-shit MD breweries are doing with fruit and sour.

I’ve got an old riserva I need to get into one of these days. Was a great beer back in the day.

I also finally finished off my SS box with the Black Butte this weekend. It was very good, but I think the RR porter and the Hazards Haze were definitely the standouts. Thanks again Gator. .
