Casa Agria Specialty Ales

Was looking at a map of Ventura county recently and a brewery I had never seen before caught my eye.  Casa Agria

Casa Agria Specialty Ales is a small brewery focusing on mixed fermentation farmhouse style ales and barrel aged wild ales in Ventura County, California. Like much of California, Ventura County agriculture and farming has played a vital role in the development of the communities here throughout time. The mild climate and rich soil allows for several harvests throughout the year making it one of the most valuable resources here. For these reasons the farmhouse style is a perfect style to refresh during a warm dry winter and a mild summer day alike from one harvest to the next. Our beer uses fruit, purchased directly from the farmers who grow them, and are used in season as available. Further influence is found in the food ingredients and diverse cultural traditions of the people who shaped the California of today.

Not that I put much weight in BA reviews but these are fairly impressive.  I'm excited to check this place out

Stopped by a couple weekend's ago. Solid lineup. Wish there were more to-go options (no bottles currently available, only allowed 32oz growler fill of one beer, Mega Citronic). My favorites that day were Guayaba de Oro, Agria de la Casa, and MEGA Citronic.

Cool I think I might go up next weekend.  Basically I'm waiting for Spring Fling to be available at Hollister (should be by next weekend).

Last I checked, they don't distribute except to a few places in their immediate area.
