Great Taste Ticket Weekend
« on: March 15, 2016, 03:47:47 PM »
Hi friends,

We had such a great time with all of you TBSers during ticket weekend last year, and would love to host again on Saturday, April 30th at our new house in Madison. Who's IN for grilled meats and shared beer before the long morning in line?

We live exactly 1 mile from Wine and Hop Shop, so we could easily walk (or Uber if it was raining/we were too sloppy) if that's still a ticket location this year. Open to other ideas for lining up as well.

Just to throw this out there, for this weekend or any in the future, we live in a cohousing community with some shared amenities, including guest rooms in our Common House that are available free of charge. One guest room is a two bedroom suite that works really well for families, and we also have multiple playrooms and a giant backyard to keep the kiddos entertained. And, we're 2 blocks from the zoo!

So keep that in mind, and let us know if any of you ever want to bring the fam down. We'd love it!

OK, for some reason I swear your location showed "Appleton" when I replied to that yesterday

I may pitch this idea to the wife/kids.  Never been up there other than GT weekend.

Jess post from a while back:

We live exactly 1 mile from Wine and Hop Shop, so we could easily walk (or Uber if it was raining/we were too sloppy) if that's still a ticket location this year.

Update: Eileen and the kids are coming in that weekend to meet up with my BIL and his kids.  I have no idea how this will affect how much I can hang out.  Hopefully, not at all.

May 1st

So we mail it on may 1st or they have to receive it by may 1st.

Mail orders that are postmarked on Monday, May 2* will be processed via a lottery system.

Any mail orders postmarked after May 2 are unlikely to be filled. You must include a self-addressed stamped envelope along with a check (payable to MHTG) or money order.

*Mail orders postmarked before May 2 will be rejected

Mail orders can be sent to:
Great Taste!
Madison Homebrewers and Tasters Guild (MHTG)
Post Office Box 1365
Madison, Wisconsin 53701-1365

You must include a self-addressed stamped envelope. CORRECT POSTAGE REQUIRED.
Please allow 5-7 weeks for ticket processing. We are a homebrewing hobby club and not a professional order fulfillment company. We know you want your tickets, but please respect that we have our own family and work responsibilities too.
