Alpine's released Keene Idea and Exponential Hoppiness in consecutive weeks and they're completely wiped out at the moment, as Jedi was saying. This will be the third week in a row I didn't score any Alpine at the shop which might be a new record.

Everything should be back to normal at B&V starting next Friday, although Alpine should be fully stocked at the brewery sometime mid-next week.

Also for Fred and Gator's friend. This is happening at Stone Liberty Station this Sunday. That new location is awesome to grab beers outside. Too bad they still haven't gotten their food together.

What breweries are "nearby" and worth it?  I could hit a couple on the way to a bottle share.

Well here is a list of breweries I think are worth visiting, in order, and their distance from Santa Maria/Grover Beach

Libertine Pub 45miles/29miles
Firestone and Barrellhouse (within 2miles of each other) 57miles/39 miles
Firestone Bottleworks  32/50miles
Dunbar Brewing 43miles/25miles
Central Coast Brewing 33miles/16miles
Manrock Brewing 18miles/1mile
SLO Brew 30miles/15miles

With the exception of the Bottleworks, most of the breweries are en route so if your willing to hit the furthest of them it's easy to het others on the way back.

http://www.thelibertinepub.com/#beersontap

I'm game for any of them.
