Sounds awesome

Nice to see they're doing an official oud bruin, several years ago they did a Trousseau barrel Bon Chien and it was probably the best oud bruin-esque beer i've had.

I believe they've most well known for a blended barrel-aged sour beer called L’Abbaye de Saint Bon-Chien.  It's good.

Mekong and Hardywood would probably be the top two.  Center of the Universe & Lickinghole Creek are worth a trip if you're willing to take a 20-30 minute drive (to each, they're not near each other).

There are a ton of places with good beer on tap, but Mekong is the best.  If you tell me what neighborhood he's staying in I might be able to give a better recommendations.

Didn't want to start a new thread....  I recommend checking this place out.  Burgers/fries are good.  Try the special burger no matter how gross it sounds, I was never disappointed.

Met Jerome Rebetez of BFM yesterday

Drank some Cuvee Alex with pepper, tea, vanilla from a wooden keg/cask thingy.
He mentioned that they secured a good number of Vin Jaune barrels recently, that apparently Jean Van Roy was jealous of.
I mentioned that Trousseau barrel one-off to him, and he said that was his favorite Bon Chien also.
