Have you tried the anniversary beer?  It's a good beer, but not worth the price tag, IMO.

You heading to Door County?

Straight from the Dells!  :excited: :killmenow: I'm pretty much the prototypical FIB now.

Nope, haven't tried it yet, the only beer in their current lineup I haven't tried. I like Dubbels, surely it's better than Sprecher's?

I haven't had Sprecher's dubbel, but I would have to assume that the NG one is better.  At $6.99 (IIRC) for a 500 ml bottle, I was willing to try it once, because I've never had a bad beer from them, but that's a little too rich for my wallet.

Probably a safe assumption. $6.99 doesn't seem so bad considering its reported 12% abv and cellarable. Maybe ISO x2 then...

Are you ISO because you think they'll be gone by then, or are you just offering to spread the Chicago beer wealth to some of us in Northeast Podunk?

Ok, so I screwed up the dates earlier :bag:

We'll only be staying up in DC a couple days now, traveling through on the 23rd (Appelton, GB) and the 25th (Sheboygan). Anybody (Furley, Severstud, JJ) still up for a weekday power lunch/beer trade?

Can bring Pipeworks (new Coffee Break should be around), Revolution, or other Chicago locals. Prairie Ales and Ballast Point showed up here recently too. Any specific requests just let me know

In!

I have your requested beers. And, a fresh Central Waters Coffee Stout (if you want it).
Anything Pipeworks or Revolution would rock.

I might be able to get away for lunch on Tuesday.  Not leaving for Madison until later that afternoon.

Approximate time?  Locations?

Dells to Neenah is 2 hrs., i'd imagine we could be there sometime after 11, meet with Sev, and up to GB by 12:45-1pm.
This is all flexible based on your schedules though, let me know when would be the best time

Severstad works closer to GB, though, so I'm guessing/assuming he'll be up here at lunch time on a Tuesday?

Ok, sounds good I didn't know that. Lunch at Titletown (open to other places) after noonish?
