D'oh it's spring break for the kids, so Wed. nite is no good.  Will there be any left for lunchtime the day after, or is it going to show up at Clybourn GI?

Is this going to be a special event at the upstairs bar, or on tap for the whole place?

Will probably grab dinner there first, don't want to miss all the :hack:

Next Wednesday, April 3rd, we are hosting the release event for Goose Island's latest Fulton Wood Series beer. Thus far, these beers have been very delicious and successful at Hopleaf. The newest release is Dark Traveler Dunkel brewed by David Tohtz, Ken Hunnemeder and Brian Davis.

From 6-7 there will be an industry/media tasting.

From 7-9 PM we will be offering the beer and some cool food upstairs to the public for $15, with all proceeds going to the National Resources Defense Fund's Brewers for Clean Water campaign. This will be a great chance to have some great beer and food while helping a great cause. The brewers will be on hand.

Tickets are available at brownpapertickets.com.

Yes...fantastic.   Not normally my style, but I had 5 pints.  Very clean and crisp on the palate.

Seems to be the popular thing to do here if you're the owner of a mediocre bar... jump on the craft bandwagon, then start jacking up prices for teacups of beer. Post on beermenus, and watch all the suckers customers roll in!*

*or avoid your bar entirely, you greedy bastard >:(
