ISO: Black Note empty bottle
« on: February 06, 2013, 02:13:43 PM »
I'm a goddamn completist, so I need to have the label from Black Note (yes, the neck label too :bag:).

Anyone got an empty they can hold onto for me?  Preferably as pristine as possible.

If you are a true completist, you'll want both the 12oz and 750ml bottles, correct?  :coffee:

If someone has an empty 750, I'd be all for it.
I've got a Wild One that I need to soak the label off of, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Yes, just Bell's.  I have a few other smaller collections, but my primary obsession is Bell's labels.  I have over 100 different ones currently.

I'm chronicling the history of the brewery one label at a time.
Did you know there are at least 6 different people that have been on the Kalamazoo Stout label?

I believe they were just locals who used to hang out at the bar or coffee shop where the artist liked to work.

I'll snap some, Don.  All the variants of the Third Coast Beer labels look pretty cool when spread out.

Here you go.  Sorry about the high resolution (no, I'm not). 109 unique labels currently.  I just realized tonight that Bell's is still making all the different Third Coast Beer labels (I have 2 of the 23), and I'm still missing quite a few currently shipping ones.  Also missing is Batch 1000, 15000, 2000, and 3000, but I'm not very confident that I'll ever get them.  And I'm missing most of the 12 Stouts of Christmas from ~2002 (Trumpeter's, Rye, Sweet, McGill's, etc).

If you know of anyone who collects labels and wants to trade I have a ton of duplicates.

Can't tell what the one year of Eccentric is that you have there, but I have 2006 and 2007.  Let me know if you want the bottles, full or after they are empty.

Tang, I have David Bell turns 21 ale unopened. I am sure it is shit now as a beer. Not sure why I kept it. I am sure it is pretty rare, but what am I gonna do with it? I can hook you up with that as well, as I didn't see a label, if you want it. Drain pour and label it if you like.

I need to keep a running list here of all of the bottles you need from me.

Midwesetern Pale Ale? New Amber labels?

I don't have these yet.

I just received another label set from the Bells General Store. It included all the new Amber labels, Midwestern PA, a new Third Coast, 11, Black Note, Smitten, and another five new variants of old labels.

Other than the 750ml bottles I am up to date for the current beers.

Midwesetern Pale Ale? New Amber labels?

I don't have these yet.

I just received another label set from the Bells General Store. It included all the new Amber labels, Midwestern PA, a new Third Coast, 11, Black Note, Smitten, and another five new variants of old labels.

Other than the 750ml bottles I am up to date for the current beers.

you can buy just the labels? or did you write and ask for them?

$5 from the online General Store.
I've written and asked for some of the special labels, but they haven't been very receptive to me.  :(

Yes, unless you also have the 750 ml labels.

Are you also collecting labels from Upper Hand Brewery?

"A little more about us: our founder—Larry Bell of Bell’s Brewery—had always dreamed of opening a brewery in the Upper Peninsula—little clues of those dreams can be found in many of the classic Bell’s brands, which pay tribute to the U.P. in their names and label artwork. His dream became a reality when we broke ground on our 20 BBL brewhouse in 2013 and we haven’t looked back since."

I've had a beer or two from Upper Hand, but I haven't been tracking down their labels.
