"BBBooo is now available in Wisconsin.
My shop: Barriques in Fitchburg has a very limited supply (since I'm buying a bunch to hold in case other babblers aren't able to find any).

Discount Liquor in Milwaukee also has some and there may be some at other retailers in the area.

from the sounds of it, people have found it in the Boston area, Portland and i think Austin. so it's out there.

in addition to the coffee joint in Fitchburg holding some. getting to Fitchburg = problem

I can guarantee you it's not in Austin unless it's under the table. Fantome is one of the breweries oft cited in the case against the TABC that's trying to take down their cost prohibitive licensing fees. Fantome would have to sell nearly their whole US allotment in Texas in order to recoup that fee.

I will try and swing by the stores that I know get Fantome this week. No guarantees most of small amount stuff is gone in hours. You need to follow the store on twitter/facebook and be able to leave at the drop of a hat.

Just take a couple of NG Saisons and pour them through an old dog blanket, some used cat litter, and a couple of dead mice.

I really wanted to like this as I'm a Fantome fan but I was let down. A bit medicinal and smokey/burnt plasticy to be enjoyable.

Is it really bottle to bottle or is more batch to batch variation?

my understanding is that each batch is different for sure.. but that every bottle can be its own new deal.

i've had enough of the regular Saisons (some from the same batch, but at different intervals) to believe the bottle variation idea.

though i've never drank 2-3 in a short period (a week, month) to say for sure.

someone like Javit might know more than i.

Most of the ones I've had from the same batch in a short period of time were some of the newer one offs. Sante 14 was awesome each time I had it (3 times in 6 months), Sante 15 was decent both times I had it, and the new Pietrain (cant remember if it was the amber or the blonde) was smokey and plasticy both times. A case of Hiver from 3 years ago was put into the fridge at Stuffed Sandwich earlier this year and every week for about a month we bought one and it was exactly the same each time, flat (relatively) and oxidized.

That said pretty much every printemps I've ever had has been different but I never know what year I'm getting. And the one time I ever had Fantome on tap (regular saison) it was really sour compared to that sweetness and classic Fantome funk that his beers usually have.

I have no doubt that there is SOME bottle to bottle variation considering how inconsistent his beers are but I have my doubts as to whether or not this is one of those times considering the Boo was just bottled recently and wouldnt have time to change a whole lot.

i may or may not have signed up for a Fantome BBBoo shirt on babblebelt some time ago.  can't recall.

one of the posts lists names of people who ordered.. one of the names is "matt (knownfactor)".  don't know if that's a users name or that's supposed to be me.  most people use their real name.

anyone know how to look at posting history?  or about whom to contact to find out about the shirts?

No sign of it here in St. Louis, but that's no surprise as Shelton Bros have been on-hold for a year or more here. Anything they bring in that's still on the shelves here is ancient at this point.  >:(

I wish it would hit down south far enough that a quick drive across the river would be worth it. But I doubt it.

I dumped La Dalmatienne. Pure cigarette ashiness. Gross.

There's been a Noel here and there that had higher levels of diacytel, too.

There has to be batch or bottle variance, obviously. I've popped two bottles of the 2010 La Dalmatiene and both were phenomenal.
