Second bottle thanks to borrowedladder, more coffee less butter, but the vanilla seems to be putting off a buttery note still.

"O'so just fruited a Kriek Lambic style beer with 450lbs of tart Door County cherries. This will be offered at the brewery only shortly so pay attention to Facebook, Twiiter, and of course our great newsletter.

The next 750mL will be our Restless Soul (our Brett fermented Dank) and should arrive in stores mid Summer. Very wine-like and powerful exceeding 10%ABV

Goldielocks Revenge is in Brandy barrels. Goldies is a smoked Imperial Stout that we released back in early 2012 and it was so well received that we decided to do it again. We will be aging this for an entire year so look for it mid 2015.

A portion of 2014 Spikes Maple has also been put in Brandy barrels and maybe released mid 2015."

It had some, but a fairly low carb level in general.
This was at Tenuta's. They had a few of the 750s, all the Night Trains were in the back.

Oof

Previously, next Friday's party was a bottle release party. In lieu of past carbonation issues we do not feel that the beers we were going to release are fully carbonated.

Those beers are Bourbon Convenient Distraction and Bourbon Barrel Imperial Night Train with Coconut.

NO WORRIES, We are still brewing the Lambic and filling the coolship, so please join us.

For those of you who were bringing beers back from the previous Bourbon Barrels released, the following is how we will be handling your situation. Please be ready to choose from one of the following four options.

1.) Trade straight up for Convenient Distraction, non Bourbon for any unopened 750's from last release.

2.) Receive a voucher for a future release of a 750 per unopened bottle returned. This will guarantee that you'll get some of the future special releases.

3.) Receive four drink tickets for each unopened bottle returned, for use in the tap house.

4.) Cash refund of $12.50 per bottle.

Again, we apologize for the short notice, but we would rather have the best product going forward and we feel that waiting for a future date will assure everyone will be satisfied.

Planning another release attempt on Saturday, March 7th, 2015, please mark your calendars for this day and watch for further details on their releases.

Those of you who purchased beers through Funk Factory's Brown Paper Tickets for sour beers will still be able to get those beers. If you have NOT purchased a brown paper ticket, these beers are sold out.

Thanks for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you next weekend.

Team O'so

They seem to be having a ton of carbonation issues, and issues in general with anything imperial night train bottle related for a couple of years now.

http://www.stevenspointjournal.com/story/news/local/2017/08/07/oso-brewing-expansion-moves-forward-stevens-point/547415001/

STEVENS POINT - O’so Brewing Company’s new brewery in the East Park Commerce Center is moving forward.

The Stevens Point Common Council voted unanimously to approve a development agreement between the city and Big Thinker LLC, owned by the owners of the brewery, to construct a 35,000-square-foot facility along Portage County HH, just east of Crossroads Commons and the Portage County Business Park.

“It’s a benefit to the entire community that we can help a small local company expand in this area,” said Stevens Point Mayor Mike Wiza following the meeting. “It’s crazy fabulous.”

The agreement calls for the city to sell Big Thinker 20 acres within the center for $1, provide a $500,000 grant for improvements to the site, and extend utilities to the site. Big Thinker would complete the project, valued at $2 million, within two years, and would be required to pay the city a minimum tax increment payment that would increase annually from 2020 to 2033.

The new facility will include a brewery, taproom, VIP area available for parties and meetings, and a barrel aging cellar. The grounds will boast an outdoor beer garden with a seasonal outdoor bar, and eventually a kickball diamond and disc golf course. Walking paths would be incorporated through a fruit orchard — which would provide fruit for specialty barrel aged beers — and a hops field.

Marc Buttera, O’so Brewing’s co-owner and founder, attended Monday’s meeting but declined to comment.
