The CoolBot turns almost any brand of off-the-shelf, window-type air conditioning unit (purchased separately) into a turbo-charged cooling machine. With it, you can transform a highly-insulated room into a walk-in cooler, keeping your vegetables BEER fresh and thermostatically controlled cool down to 34° F!

Hmmm... $299. Cheaper than a chest freezer w/ temp control, or about the same?
Sounds like a cool way to create your own walk-in cooler though...

More than, especially when you consider the cost of insulating the room.

Wondering then what this system would be most viable for, storing kegs for a home bar or a very large cellar?

That was the impression I got.  It sounds like a cheap way to build your own walkin, but that's way more than the average home user needs, and it's going to cost a ton to keep that AC unit running constantly.
