Dark Horizon 3rd Edition, brewed late last year, should be ready for release at the end of 2009 or in early 2010. The brewer said that this edition will contain a significantly stronger licorice presence, a big change from previous years. Red Horizon, a brew fermented with sake yeast, will have a very fruity and almost flowery flavor profile and will weigh in at 18% ABV. Sweet Horizon, as the name suggests, will have a more rich, dessert-like flavor. It will measure 14% ABV.

The brewer is releasing 24,000 bottles of Dark Horizon 3rd Edition, 18,000 bottles of Red Horizon and 12,000 bottles of Sweet Horizon. All three will be in 250ml bottles this time around. Get your hands on them before they're gone.
