Driftwood Singularity and Tree Double Hophead IPA
Posted Tuesday, January 18th, 2011 by Pols

I don't blog about beer releases, but these 2 have me excited. First up, Driftwood Brewing out of Victoria has made a bourbon barrel aged RIS called "Singularity". Eskimodave tells me it's really good. Lots of bourbon in it. All of Driftwood's beers are good, so this comes as no surprise. If you talk nicely to teh eskimo he might set up a trade for this. here's a link to their site: Tree Brewing released their Double Hophead IPA this past week. Last year it was an english style IPA. They've changed the bottle this year, and I'm interested to see if they changed the recipe as well. I really enjoyed the 2009 batch. The 2010 batch left a litte to be desired, so I'm hopig they come back in 2011 and kick me in the face with a boot full of hops. Back to the grind... These trees won't kill themselves.
