Alright, so not Stoned in THAT way. But word on the street has it that the Chicago area is finally getting its very own supply of Stone beers in distribution. Keep in mind that this is second-hand information, so I don't have any formal confirmation yet. Although, the "source" said he saw it already on the internet, so hopefully I can get my research department into gear. For some of us (me), that means no more late-night trips to Kenosha to "steal/buy" Stone from Wisconsin.

The only detail I have so far is the date will be April 1st. Other details I am not sure yet -- where, which beers in the lineup are coming, etc. When we have more details, we will pass them along. Until then, this is one step in my long term plan for forming the perfect beer supply for my hometown. Next up is to convince Dan and Deb to ship New Glarus down here. The much harder task will be to convince Vinny and Natalie to start sending Russian River our way. But for now, this giant baby step is more than enough to make me excited to be a fan of good beer.
