Style Information |
Pumpkin Beers are beers (ales or lagers) that use pumpkins as an adjunct as part of the brewing process. The style has obvious pumpkin aroma and flavor, and usually has notable "pumpkin spice" notes as well (nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon). Hop bitterness should not be overly apparent in either aroma or taste. ABV ranges widely from 2.5% t0 12%. IBUs also range widely from 5 to 70. |
