Style Information

The German Pilsener is pale yellow to gold in color. The aroma is somewhat muted, but dominated by the hops. There should also be a notable malty sweetness in the smell. The taste should also be dominated by a notable hop bitterness, but is should not be overwhelming. A mild malt sweetness should also be apparent. The feel should be medium bodied. ABV should range from 4% to 5%. IBUs should be between 30 to 40.
