Style Information |
Chili Beer is a specific type of vegetable beer that uses hot peppers in the brewing process or fermentation. Expect this style to be spicy. Expect it to have minimal "beer" characteristics, as the spiciness overshadows pretty much anything else. Aroma and taste should be something similar to eating a Jalepeno pepper. If you notice the hops in this one, then consider yourself lucky, as the brewer has a conscience and did not "spice it up". In some cases, you may actually get some of the characteristics of the underlying beer style, but not usually. |
