Old Review
One of those reviews that slipped through the cracks on my Montreal trip. Found some notes and here we go. 12 oz bottle that I had at the American Flatbread in Burlington, VT. Served with a standard pint.

A: This beer first and foremost has a very highly carbonated look. Lots of carbonation activity running up the glass. The color is a yellow that is hazy. My pour rendered a nice finger and a half of head that didn't last very long. No lacing to really mention. Pretty standard.

S: This beer really showcases the apple. So much so, it is almost unappealing. Wheat and grains peek through just a bit, but apple is at the front in this nose.

T: A lot more subdued than I was expecting from the nose. Green apples are the main focus of this brew, but a very nice sour/sweet flavor. Not overpowering. The wheat is there along with a touch of thin malty sweetness. There are also notes of citrus and also some herbs/spices that I can't exactly put my finger on but they add a slightly metallic taste.

M: This brew is high in carbonation but not as bad as I assumed it would be. Very, very crisp. It really quenches the thirst. Apple is your main aftertaste but there isn't much of that. Very clean.

D: Pretty decent beer. It reminds me a lot of a cider without being one. It still has that beer flavor to it and isn't too crazy when it comes to the apple. I could and would drink more. Girlfriend loved it, but then again, she loves ciders. Good crossover beer.
