(Served in a tulip glass)
A- The bright crystal clear copper body has a gentle carbonation of microbubbles and a lumpy off-white head that last a good bit.
S- The candy esters come through during the pour but fade a bit in the glass. There is some soft lightly toasted malt and green raisins notes that take on a bit of a new sneaker aroma as it opens.
T- The nice candy sweetness has a toasted marshmallow hint to them and some green raisins notes. There is a lightly toasted malt flavor mixed in followed by a soft tartness to the hop hint in the dry finish. The dry toasted malt flavor lingers becoming just a bit sweet as it opens.
M- The medium-light mouthfeel has a crisp fizz on the tongue and no alcohol heat noticed.
O- The gentle hops support a nice mellow malt flavor with some good depth and a sweetness that is cut nicely by the fizz. This beer really adds depth as it opens up.
